A school without a library is unthinkable these days. It has books on various subjects, newspapers, journals, and magazines. Students, especially those who want to broaden their knowledge, go to the library in their vacant periods and study.
My school has an up-to-date library. It is quite big. It is housed in a separate room. There are nearly twenty-five bookshelves. They are placed along the walls of the room. The shelves have glass pane. Besides textbooks, the almirahs have books on travels, biographies, history, and geography.
On one side of the library hall, there are long tables and benches. Students sit there and read newspapers, journals, and magazines; some take down notes. Nobody is permitted to talk to disturb others.
The library also has references and textbooks. These are meant for studying in the library only. The calm and quiet atmosphere of the library helps the students to work attentively.
