A Street Accident Paragraph

A Street accident has become a common incident in Bangladesh. We find the news of street accidents in newspapers every day. It is taken place by buses, trucks, rickshaws, baby-taxies, etc. It is increasing day by day. This is a major problem in our country. Thousands of people die every year because of street accidents. Most accidents usually occur in urban areas. There are many reasons for a road accident. The reckless driving of the drivers is the main cause of it. The unconsciousness of the people is also responsible for increasing street accidents. Most of the drivers are not willing to obey the traffic rules. On the other hand, the passer-by is also busy. They do not use over the bridge and use over the bridge and use the underground path. As a result, a street accident is caused by every-day. So we should try to solve it. Traffic rules should be imposed. Passer-by and driver should be aware. Radio, T.V can play an important role in this regard. Govt. also should take proper steps to solve this problem.

Last Friday I was waiting for a bus at the bus stop. At that time I saw an old man walking along the pavement. He was carrying a bag. At once he stopped right opposite the bus stop. He looked both ways carefully. As there were no vehicles coming, he staffed to cross the road. He was coming towards the bus stop. I saw a small car coming from a distance. I thought he would be able to cross the road safely. But in the middle of the road, his bag fell from his hand. Then he stopped to pick the bag up. He didn’t see that car coming. The driver of the car did not expect the man to stop in the middle of the road. He applied the brakes but he could not stop the car. It hit the old man. He was thrown away. I went to the scene. He was in a pool of blood. I called for an ambulance. It came in no time and took the injured man to the hospital. Just at that moment, a policeman came to the place. I told him how the accident happened. The driver of the car was arrested by the police. Just then my bus came. I came home by that.

I witnessed an accident on the Lahore-Narowal road. It was a very sad spectacle. The road at the scene was lined with pieces of broken glass and bars of iron. The luggage of the passengers of the bus was in the muddy sideway nullah. There were small pools of blood with bricks all around. There was a face-to-face collision between the bus and the truck. Two people died on the spot and five others were seriously injured. The bus was lying on one side with its heavy wheels raised high in the air. The police arrived, took necessary measures, and recorded statements.

An Accident Paragraph

A street accident is a regular phenomenon in the streets and highways Of cur country. Every year it kills hundreds of lives. It brings untold suffering to the victims and their families. The injured persons lead a very miserable life. Overtaking tendency of our drivers, the had conditions of roads. faulty, vehicles, lack of traffic rules, and regulations are the main causes of road accidents. In Bangladesh, every day we find the news about road accidents in our daily newspaper. It really makes us shocked. Last month I witnessed a very pathetic street accident. It occurred in Rokeya Sarani near Agargaon Bus Stand. I was standing on the road for my school bus. Then I saw an old man who was trying to cross the busy road. When he was crossing the road, a bus was coming towards him with great speed. The driver could not control the speedy bus and it ran over the body of the unlucky old man. The adjacent people hurried to the spot and some of them took the victim to the nearby hospital. But it was very pathetic that the doctor on duty declared him dead. Really it made me sad and I could not bear to watch the scene. I came back home with a heavy heart and I could not attend my class on that day.
